Connecticut here we come!!!
The last few months we have been hearing back from Law schools and are excited to announce our final decision. We will be moving to Hamden, Connecticut where Brandon will begin Law school at Quinnipiac University. This offer came with everything we had been hoping for, including a great scholarship, and most importantly, we both feel at peace and happy with the decision. I'm so grateful that the Lord can inspire and guide for big decisions like this! We will head out July 31st, take a week or so to get to the east coast, then scramble to find a place to live and get unpacked and settled in our new home before Brandon begins school on Aug. 18th. Hamden is located almost exactly in between NYC and Boston with only a 2 hour drive to each! The area is absolutely gorgeous with lots to see and do and we are so excited for the opportunity. We'll miss our friends we've made here in AZ and family in UT, but hopefully with such a fun location, you will all feel welcome to come visit and stay with us while you do some sightseeing! Oops, I should have looked here first. Hamden is only about an hour from where I was (West hartford), and really close to the beach in Old Lyme where I stayed 3 summers in a row! You're going to love that area, it's great. There's an aquarium in Mystic (plus, you have to go there just for the name), and all kinds of fun nearby. Congrats! How exciting.
If you need a place to crash, feel free to get a hold of me, and I'll give you my "family's" info. They're totally up for visitors most of the time. They'll most likely be in Old Lyme for the summer.
