We were oh-so-excited to have my parents come for a visit a few weeks ago. They hopped in their car and DROVE all the way from Utah, to our doorstep. We had such a good time visiting, hanging, and showing them a few of our favorite places. It was pretty laid back for which I was grateful. With all of the crazy ups and downs of finding a new home (we went through not 1, not 2, but 3 different places we thought we'd be renting while they were here just to have things fall through and start from scratch again...) It was nice to be so relaxed. They were perfect house guests and we can't wait to have them back!
Of course we had to share Lymans Orchard with them...its tradition! Apple picking, cider, and donuts at the Apple Barrel...they added feeding the ducks to our list and it was magical. Now all we need is to have them here with us every year! Welcome Fall!

Those pictures are making me homesick for Connecticut! Isn't Lyman Orchards the best?! Looks like a great visit with your parents!
Oh I wish I could come visit too...Nothing is better than donuts and Lyman orchards with the Yosts. Glad you guys had a good time with your family
