Funny Phrases and Words

1. Lately Olivia says a cheery

"Hahlo__!!"

(fill in the blank) to everything she sees: her milk, toast, hands, shoe, etc. We took the tray off her high-chair last night after dinner revealing her legs and feet. She cheerily responded "Hahlo feet!"

The other side of this is "All gone____" when she doesn't see it any more. When we slip the footsie parts of her jammies on, she announces, "All gone feet!"

2. "Mu-kee"? = Music

3. "Baby Pee-kah" = Baby Caleb, her newest little cousin. Those consonants in the middle of words can really throw you for a loop, can't they?

4. "Pank-kah" = Grandpa

5. "Hand" = Request to hold your hand and take you to whatever she's needing when you can't understand her clear toddler lingo.

6. During sacrament meeting, Olivia makes sure there are no snoozers by yelling "AMEN!!" each time she hears it. Think about how often you hear "Amen" during sacrament: opening prayer, sacrament prayers, 3 talks, and a closing prayer. No snoozing in our ward!

7. "YEAH!!" = Olivia's favorite way to respond to any intonation resembling a question.

8. "Hold you?" = Request to be held, or to hold something herself, or give her something you're holding.
